Hobby lobby is filled with horrible employees. I bought spray paint that had exploded and I lost all the paint in our driveway.
My husband immediately put it in the garbage. I went to the store and showed them my receipt and my hands and told them what happened and all they said is we can't do anything. If you bring the can then we can give you a new one or refund but without it nothing. Some Christian store this is.
They have no sense of religion or heart or mind or anything. You selfish ***.

Managers are rude. Employees are snobby.
Theres one sweet girl that works there who i adore. It urked me when i was standing in the check out line amd one of the managers attacked this employee verbally. The younge girl tried to walk away but the manager kept getting in her face. The poor girl yelled at thw manager to finally tell her to leave her alone but the manager kept on harrassing her.
In front of everyone at that. Now what made me very mad was when the girl finally could get away the manager snatched the employees arm and yanked and the girl was obviously freaked out because she was in tears. I pray to god that thatanager gets fired. Its completely unacceptable to put your hands on anyone of your employees much less try to degrade some one in front of customers.
Im beyond angry and i prayer that poor girl is ok.
People here at hobby lobby ofallon mo are completely nasty to say the least. Its a shame.

Company addressing my concernd
When we entered the store I had in a bag 2 items, WITH RECEIPT, I intended to return/exchange which were bought from the store on 8/18/15. While deciding, I TOOK OFF A SCOTCH TAPE FROM ONE OF THE ITEMS THAT WERE IN THE BAG. MEANWHILE MR SPEARMAN WAS WALKING DOWN THE AISLE. THAT WAS WHEN HE QUESTIONED WHAT I WAS TINKERING.
HE THEN COMMANDED ME TO RETURN THE ITEMS BEFORE I CONTINUE WITH MY SHOPPING!!! TO WHICH I RETORDED that he was PREEMTYING ON HOW I WISH TO DO MY SHOPPING. I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, MR. PATRICKDIAZ, WHO ADMITTED THAT WE WERE TREATED VERY RUDELY AND PROFUSELY ASKED FOR DISPENSATION.
I ALSO TOLD HIM THST I WOULD RETURN ALL THE OTHER ITEMS I BOUGHT AND WILL NEVER AGAIN SHOP AT HOBBY LOBBY! I ALSO INTEND TO WRITE TO THE OWNERS AND WOULD PURSUE ACTION AS MY LEGAL & HUMAN RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but most likely they have to have the spray paint can back in order to give you a new one. I have been told that some people will just find reciepts and try to get money back, so because of that issue is why they probably need to have their item returned back to them. I know it probably seems ridiculous but it also may just be a rule for getting a refund.
