Complaint.

I, live in Colorado close to the Wheat Ridge Colorado store. I was in there this morning. I set my purse on the counter to change my sunglasses to my regular glasses. I was accused of stealing. The young women that accused me told another Lady at the register. That store has the rudest managers and the rudest people working there. I am a 67 year old women and never stolen anything in my life!!! I suggest you put your people in that store under control. I will be turning this matter over to my Attorney. I expect Hobby Lobby to make this right. I will never shop in one your stores again!

I'm a huge animal lover, but I really think hobby lobby needs to reconsider changing their animal rules, last week it was a donkey, this week its's a cow.I'm there to shop, If I wanted to go to a petting zoo that's where I would go.

I was in Hobby Lobby in Smyrna Tennessee a few days ago... I was looking for a Marilyn Monroe picture that was on sale...

I walked around for about 30 minutes couldn't find it. .. I asked qn associate is

if she could tell me where the picture was... And all she did was point in a direction towards back of store...

I go back in that direction but there's hundreds of pictures... I searched more but can't find it... I walked up to the associate again and... Asked her if she could tell me exactly where it was at...

She said there's no way to know... So I said basically I have to look through thousands of pictures and she said yes... Never offered me assistance as far as... To show me the specific area and never told me I could order the picture online at store for pickup...

If I couldn't find it... So today Sunday February 13 2022... I'm looking up Hobby Lobby and I see that it says it can be ordered from the store and I can pick it up there and save shipping cost... The store is closed today...

So I was going to do it tomorrow but... I now see... The picture is no longer on sale... I feel like I should get it for the sale price since the associate never offered me assistance nor tell me it could be ordered online if they didn't have it...

It wasn't like the associate was with a customer...

She was however straightening up... But never took the time to actually help me...

I was told to speak with the home office for a donation. I work with a nonprofit here in Boise that grants wishes to terminally ill adults. We have a fund raiser on Memorial Day to help support our mission. I was hoping to secure a donation for this fundraiser. Nonprofit is Wish Granters.

Unacceptable behavior of employees

I am writing because it has come to my attention that employees of your Coralville, Iowa Hobby Lobby location were acting in an unacceptable way of late. Please note, I am NOT an employee, nor am I speaking for management of Coralville Chilis, but that I learned of this incident as a 3rd party. My information is correct, as I have since spoken to others involved as well as to customers who were also present on the evening mentioned. I am writing this to inform you of Hobby Lobby employee behavior that has left many concerned and disappointed. In early December, employees of your Coralville, Iowa location had a Holiday party at a nearby Chilis location adjacent to nearby Coralridge Mall. On this evening, they filed into the eatery in small groups, over a 3 1/2 hour timespan. Management was informed that all charges were to be added to one bill and that the bill for the Holiday gathering would be paid at the end of the evening. For over 3 1/2 hours, several of Chilis waitstaff patiently and cheerfully waited upon individuals in this party, assuring the customers had a enjoyable experience. All of those present at the party were asked numerous times if there was anything the staff could do to enhance their visit at Chilis. All left the holiday party seemingly happy. Here is where the situation becomes concerning. The bill was paid in full by Hobby Lobby management, BUT despite all the extra care and time spent with this large number of individuals over almost a 4 hour time span, there was not a gratuity left. This was not an oversight, as management assured the eatery when booking this party, that gratuities would be taken care of. As waitstaff took extra care and time out of their busy evening to ensure this party had an enjoyable experience, with several Hobby Lobby employees commenting on their speedy, caring service, the fact that tips were not left by your employees OR management when paying the bill, is extremely concerning. As you know, Chili employees are not paid in the same manner as Hobby Lobby employees, they count on gratuities to help their paycheck grow, and because of this, they give above board service, especially to those in a large group. It might be understandable that your employees did not leave individual gratuities (perhaps thinking Hobby Lobby management would cover gratuities), but it is not acceptable that Hobby Lobby management did not leave a general gratuity when paying the bill, as many group Holiday parties have done. In fact, most eateries add gratuities to the bill when it comes to a large party, but this Chilis did not. Special care was taken to arrange for this party, and a running bill kept as your management insisted. As a customer of both Hobby Lobby & Chilis, I am disappointed in the actions of those working at your Coralville, Iowa store. After some thought, and discussion with others who frequent both business it was decided that this manner needed to be brought to your attention. After Covid-19, it has been increasingly difficult for all types of business to hang in there, but in most instances, employees of various business have supported other business to help everyone involved stay open. Employees of Chilis are no different. They have chosen to frequent your store, and other business so that others might keep their jobs. I, for one, commend them for reaching out, but I am disappointed in the way your Hobby Lobby employees treated wait staff at their party. As I mentioned, I am writing this on behalf of a large group of individuals who felt an injustice had been done to the hard working waitstaff at Chilis. We chose to inform you of this oversight as we felt management of your store was unapproachable. We are trusting you to address this issue with your management and employees. It is imperative that every business support other business as well. For without local support, business cannot continue to offer the kind of service offered previously. Why are so many mirrors in the store have scratches on them

I wanted some mirrors and I love hobby lobby. I shop there all the time for lots of things. I found a mirror I like in beckley we. They had 3 one broken and 2scratched. I drove 55miles to Charleston every and found the same problem. I did get one of them. I then had to drive to 35 more miles in every and another store the same problem but I found one that only had a small scratch. I think I can live with. They need to be more careful in shipping or in the package because they all end up either on sale or I guess sent back. I paid full price for them but I still need 2more and I’m not sure where to go. I love hobby lobby and enjoy going. Thank you

Disrespectful to customers

I work as a preschool teacher and I had some extra supplies to return because I had purchased too many but apparently I grabbed the older supplies we had stored because after checking with other employees on the floor to see if hobby lobby still carried these particular items then when it was confirmed that they did still carry these items she said well never mind these are too old to be returned by the date...ok-fine no big deal...I still wanted to look around the store and thats where the problem started...I noticed almost immediately that I was being watched ...there would all of a sudden be two employees stocking the shovels for the isle I was in or an employee walking back and forth to glance down the isle I was in, there were two security accouncements on the loudspeaker and I also heard a manager say 'we will just stop her when she leaves' as she was looking in my direction!!! I may not be a regular customer in this store but I felt like I was being judged as a common criminal in this store...I wanted to make sure before I made any accusations tho so I walked to the very back corner of the store where no one was at the time but within a minute or two of being in the back aisle who came walking down the aisle but an employee...this was absolutely ridiculous...was it because I tried to return older items-what's the harm in that?- or maybe because I was wearing ripped out jeans?

- maybe because I was a new customer they were seeing for the first time? For whatever reason it was completely uncalled for! I did however during the situation of being humiliated, judged, and labelled find several items I wanted to purchase and at checkout the cashier told me that hobby lobby does not give a teacher discount anymore? I had my teacher ID card with me but the manager said that I would have to charge the items on the schools credit line?

Has this changed or am I just confusing hobby lobby with Michaels where I always receive a teacher discount without having to charge the school and I can shop without employees forcing a complex on me so that I'm not thinking the whole time while I shop that 'do I look weird or like trouble to them?" or 'why are they humiliating me by making it obvious they think I'm a thief ?' COMPLETELY UNCALLED FOR

Sadly I lost my job because of this. I told the parents that if they shopped at Hobby Lobby I would call CPS and make false claims about abuse. That I would have their kids taken from them. I even got very angry at one of the parents for shopping at Hobby Lobby when I told them not to.

I hurt the child so bad that they needed to be hospitalized. I hope that child dies.

The parents are having me charged. Imagine Hobby Lobby makes me hate so much that I wish death on a two year old.

I even went far as making false claims about a parent. I asked the child to lie.

The child did, but told them that "Joan said to say that.

That kid is dumb. I hope they die too.

No motorized shopping carts for handicapped customers!

I used to really enjoy shopping at Hobby Lobby when I was younger. However, I cannot shop there anymore because I am now disabled with severe back and knee problems and cannot walk very far. One would think Hobby Lobby would supply a few motorized carts for their disabled customers. I used to spend a lot of money in their store. It would seem they would think a few carts would be worth the investment.

Store music

I would like to ask for someone to please have a different music in your store. I cant speak for everybody but the music is sad, dreery, and boring. Your customers and employees, as some have said, would probably be in a much happier mood if you would change the music. I shop at the Natchitoches Louisiana store.

Went in the Horseheads, NY store to get blades for my mat cutter. Stood in line waiting to check out in one of 2 open registers while both had customers making returns/purchases.

After 10 minutes or so other customers were lining up in the other line. When another clerk announced she was opening, I hurried over. She said, no as she wanted the next in line at the register closest to her. I explained I was in line long before them but she was adamant she needed to wait on them.

Probably because they had 2 carts of Christmas decorations. So I said fine and went back to my original line & waited. Another young, male clerk opened & motioned me over where I finally got to check out! One more reason for me to NEVER shop there again!

Maybe my hair was too white or my makeup not perfect but for all the Jesus-loving in that store I dont feel I was treated very Christian-like ! AMEN

Fayetville, NY location. Have been there many many times zero issues. Rudest cashier ever named Cassidy. Date of visit 12/9/2021. I was with my 13 old daughter. Went to checkout with Cassidy. My bill came to 91.53. I handed her 100.53. she gave me back 8 dollars and change. Before she handed me the change I asked her ...why are you giving me change? I gave you change. She said you gave me 43 not 53? Well I counted 53. Here. I have a dime. Her response? Not my problem. Excuse me? Who in god's name do you think your talking to like that? While I filed a complaint with the manager I want to make sure this goes someone. That's a discusting way to treat someone. Shame on you!!!!
