Hobby Lobby has great products and such poor service. One must wait in line for a minimum of 30 minutes as there are only 2 lines open.

Management at Hulen in Ft Worth came to answer phone, sees the long lines and totally ignores them. Another associate randomly picks people out of line to help and ignores the rest who are angry for the ridiculous waits. I won't shop in a store but rather on line. Higher management must not care about these reviews as there are too many to ignore and yet they do.

Why have people who stand around and watch the long lines--this person is a total waste. Management needs to be crossed train to do something other than stand around and watch poor service at it's best.

The cashiers are supposed to take the next person in line who have been waiting the longest, also the front end manager really isn't supposed to get on a register unless directed to by the store manager. The best thing to do is to have patience and learn to wait patiently, the cashiers have to type in each item by hand so yes it can take some time.

Also depending on whether or not they have a return, they have an expired tax ID card, they need a price check, they need to double check whether or not an item is on sale, they have a lot of breakables that need to be wrapped, they are purchasing different transactions, etc.

I deal with impatient people on a daily basis who would love to waltz right up to an open register, but we stay busy. Sometimes you can walk up and their will be no one in line, but most of the time you have to wait your turn in line.
